She created another alter-ego named "Roman Zolanski".and claims that Roman is her "twin sister". Roman also has a "mother", "Martha Zolanski." who has a British accent. In November 2010 Nicki assumed a different alter-ego named "Nicki Teresa", as in Mother Teresa. Minaj made an appearance on Lopez Tonight in December 2010 and presented the Spanish-inspired occasion, named "Rosa" (pronounced Rrrrosa)

Nicki's Debut Album 'Pink Friday'
Minaj's debut album is called Pink Friday. It was released November 19, 2010! The first single she released from Pink Friday was "Your Love" in August. Nicki became the first female artist to be included on MTV's Annual Hottest MC List. Minaj is the first artist to have seven songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at once. Her album gained a Platinum certification in the U.S.only a month after the release.

Nicki's Rise to Fame
Minaj released her first mix-tape in 2007, after releasing "Playtime is Over", with Dirty Money Records, PDiddy's record label. She was also featured on various songs with Lil Wayne, Rihanna, Trey Songz, and Drake. On April 18, 2009, Nicki released another mix-tape and appeared in XXL magazine.
Nicki won Female Artist of the Year in 2008 at the Underground Music Awards. Minaj released "Beam Me Up Scotty," another mixtape, in April 2009 under the label of Trapaholics Records.

Onika Tanya Maraj was born in Trinidad on December 8, 1984. She moved to Southside Jamaica Queens, New York when she was five. Her father drank heavily, did drugs, and tried to kill her mother by setting the house on fire.
